Maiden Win for Succaforyou
Friday, 20 Feb 2026

The ladies of Lindsey Smith Racing had a day out at Kyneton on Friday with their flashy chestnut filly Succaforyou knocking off her maiden win in style.
The filly, majority of which is owner by Lindsey's wife Rebecca and a group of her friends, jumped just fairly from the barriers but mustered good speed to take up a share of the lead. Jockey Fred Kersley, who was riding out of fear of letting down his mother-in-law, was able to dictate from there, using the tight turning Kyneton circuit to our advantage and booted away in the straight. She got a little tired late but was able to score and take the prize.
She will now go out to the paddock and enjoy some sunshine before coming back next preparation with some good experience under her belt.
