Consistent gelding Active Duty rewarded his owners' patience today at Ballarat with a strong win in the Hygain Winners Choice BM70 Handicap. Known as 'Captain' around the stables, Active Duty chalked up his second win for the preparation after being scratched from a heat of the MCC Country Series on Saturday due to a soft track.
There are a bevy of options on offer for Active Duty for the rest of the spring and into the summer, with plenty of series races and country cups all possible targets on the agenda.
