First Chorus, Second Win

On Sunday at Seymour we saw Spicer Thoroughbreds’ promising mare, First Chorus, take the next step in winning the G.D. & S.L O’Sullivan Builders BM58 Handicap. Fresh off a tough maiden win where jockey Jamie Mott threw her over the line, the Ghibellines mare raced away on the heavy ground under 60kg to record her second win on the bounce from just four race starts.

This mare has shown incredible improvement throughout this preparation and poised to take on metropolitan company at her next assignment. Congratulations to the ownership group, we’re sure there’s plenty more wins in store for this tough mare.
